Through structured drills and innovative equipment like parallel bars, our intense on-ice instruction challenges each student to the best of his or her ability. We draw on traditional European methods to help students improve their game, and we strive to create an exciting and productive atmosphere where they can both learn and have fun. We’re also committed to maximizing the time students spend on the ice at each session.
Our History:
Erik Nates Euro Hockey was established in 2003 to help players in lower New York and Long Island hone their skills with small, specialized clinics and personalized instruction. We have since expanded with programs in upper New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina,Georgia and Florida, retaining our focus and commitment through structured camps and clinics.
Thanks to the expert guidance of founder Erik Nates, who played Division 1 hockey at Iona College and has taught for more than 20 years, we bring knowledge, passion, and professionalism to each of our programs. We’ve shared our love of the game with thousands of hockey players—some of whom have gone on to play for the NHL, Minor Pro, NCAA Division 1 and NCAA Division III teams, and we look forward to shaping the skills and careers of young players for many years to come.
