Hendricks Field Golf Course

About

Designed by architect Charles Banks (his only course designed for public use), Essex County’s Hendricks Field features well contoured putting surfaces and many interesting holes. Opened in 1929, renovations at Hendricks have included the reconstruction of tees, bunkers and greens as well as extensive upgrades in drainage that have significantly improved playing conditions.

Much like our other Charles Banks course, Hendricks Field offers a fantastic routing through many of the most famous template holes in golf. Those that stand out include an Alps hole (#1), a challenging redan hole (#8) a Biarritz hole (#12) , and the standout feature of the Principal’s Nose (#15). With a great combination of challenging Par 5’s and unforgettable par 3’s the course is a definite must play.

This amazing golf course in the heart of Belleville, is almost a continuation of Branch Brook Park. As you traverse through the course’s cherry trees and majestic oaks you will be greeted by a course that has endless playability and great conditioning. It will make you want to play again and again.
