MOBILE APPS FOR CITIZEN SCIENCE!

Saturday, November 8; 10:30am to 12noon

For Individuals and Families. This program teaches participants how to use free smartphone applications such as Merlin, Seek and iNaturalist to submit data and contribute to worldwide citizen science projects. By recording and identifying what we've seen, we’ll help biologists keep track of what's happening and better protect our local biodiversity. Becoming a citizen scientist can be as easy as using the phone in your hand! Pre-registration and payment required either in person, by mail or online at www.essexcountyparks.org/calendar.  Fee: $12 per child, $15 per adult
