EXTRAORDINARY CATERPILLAR MOVIE SCREENING

Friday, July 10; 6pm to 7:30pm

For all ages. Get ready to see the world from a much smaller—and much hungrier—perspective! The Essex County Environmental Commission invites you to a special screening of The Extraordinary Caterpillar movie. Homegrown National Park is the U.S. organizer of the impact campaign for The Extraordinary Caterpillar. The film features co-founder Dr. Doug Tallamy and shines a spotlight on the critical—but often overlooked—role caterpillars play in biodiversity.  Caterpillars are the engine of food webs. They feed birds, support pollinators, and keep ecosystems thriving throughout the parks, home gardens, and forests of Essex County and beyond. Registration includes a visit to our Butterfly Tent Safari!

Meet at Garibaldi Hall.

Fee: $20 per person (suggested donation to the Essex County Parks Foundation)
