GUIDING CHILDREN IN THE MODERN AGE –
The Origins of Stress, Disconnection, & The “Chronically Online” Generation
Saturday, January 25; 10:30am to 12pm
or
Monday, February 24; 6pm to 7:30pm

For adults. Join Dr. Daniel Atkins for a 90-minute workshop on the origins of stress in the body and how this is manifesting in the "chronically online" modern age. Parents, teachers, caregivers and all who are called to work with children are invited to share their struggles connecting to kids in an increasingly ungrounded and disconnected world. Dr. Atkins provides guidance to support the necessary healing for love to flow naturally, first to ourselves and then as caregivers. He explores topics of the mind-body connection, intimacy in relationships, and rediscovering authenticity beyond social conditioning. Following the discussion, he invites participants into an optional guided meditation to reconnect to the loving power within us, aligning our thoughts, emotions, and physical body to live in our highest Light and service to others.

FREE; participants are welcome to donate to the Essex County Parks Foundation, a 501-c3 non-profit organization directly supporting the Environmental Center’s environmental education programs and stewardship efforts.

Held at GARIBALDI HALL 621A Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068 (next door down from the Essex County Environmental Center - part of the campus)
