Work towards your Junior Girl Scout Simple Meals and Playing the Past Badges with Rutgers Cooperative Extension 4-H and the Montclair History Center. Scouts will tour the farm, interact with live chickens, take a sensory tour of our herb gardens to select our herbs, and understand our cooking and agricultural past with a visit to our hearth kitchen. We’ll harvest veggies and herbs from the farm and scallop tomatoes and make macaroni the historic way for dinner. Cider and apples for dessert. Crane House & Historic YWCA 108-110 Orange Road, Montclair. Registration required here. A simple meals badge will be given at the end of the day. $25/scout, maximum groups size of 30. Street parking available.
