BECOME A CERTIFIED COMPOST CHAMPION
Saturday, November 14th; 9:30am to 1:30pm
For ages 14-18. At this half-day workshop, you will master basic skills in composting, learning from experts in environmental science and sustainability. Engage with different compost systems by adding ingredients, feeding worms, and understanding the benefits of compost for our nature and our community. Take home a mini compost-in-a-bottle and tips on sustainable, eco-friendly actions to make at home. You will earn 5 community service hours and become a certified compost champion in your community! Lunch is provided.
